I would like know, How many species of river Dolphin are found in Bangladesh?
which species are available in our river?
Is it possible to count the total numbers of river dolphin in our country?

I am Bangladeshi residing abroad and am moved by the news on the Whales and Dolphins in Bangladeshi waters.

One special thing about Bangladeshi Dolphin(‘Shushuk’ in Bangla) is that they are found in rivers (Padma, Yamuna, Brahmaputra…rivers near Sunderbans….) as well. One other river where ‘Shushuk’ is found is in the river ‘Sindth’ (which is in Pakistan). Probably in ancient time these mighty rivers were part of ocean…..
